Team Marshall

Ben Marshall
I have been a lifelong resident of Parry Sound. Raised amidst the quiet charm of Humphrey and Parry Sound, I have been a real estate enthusiast since childhood, following my father on cottage showings and soaking in the industry’s nuances.
As a teen, I worked for a local law firm, a new home builder, and in direct sales. I also dabbled in the restaurant industry. All these experiences prepared me for the real estate world. You can find me at the Stockey Centre’s “Bands on the Bay” in the summer or engrossed in music when not working.
Here are ten interesting facts you might not know about me:
- I lived with over 50 different roommates.
- I called nine cities home between 19 and 23.
- I travelled to 13 countries, Jordan being my favourite.
- Struggled as a hockey goalie due to poor eyesight.
- Fluent in French thanks to French Immersion.
- I love sunbathing on Georgian Bay’s shores.
- Enjoy jumping from the sauna or hot tub into the snow.
- Enjoy discussing all kinds of music.
- Aspire to travel to space.
- Keen interest in understanding the political world.

Cameron Marshall
Born in 1993, I began my journey in Humphrey’s delightful village, where I accompanied my father, Jim, on numerous cottage tours. Growing up in the real estate business, it was only natural to follow suit.
After my education, I returned to Parry Sound and worked as a Bylaw Enforcement Officer for three local municipalities, gaining invaluable insights into how smaller municipalities function.
In my downtime, I enjoy playing hockey in the Sportsman Hockey League, softball at the Kinsmen field in the summer, and jamming to some good music, thanks to my dad’s musical genes.
Here are ten things you probably don’t know about me:
- I started playing hockey at 12.
- Graduated from Carleton University with a degree in criminology and completed a post-graduate program in King City.
- Have a wonderfully supportive partner.
- My first guitar was practically my size.
- I can name all 196 countries.
- My first vehicle was a year older than me.
- I love to cook!
- The middle child of three boys.
- I spent eight years in French Immersion, remembering about 20% of the language.
- Grandpa tricked Ben and me into a “North West Territories” road trip; we ended up in Magnetewan.
